Description and composition of the product

Enzymatic complex of microbial origin with mineral filler (stabilizer) and active substances for acceleration of the soaking process.

Purpose

Use in the wet processes of leather production to accelerate the re-preservation of leather raw materials, watering the skin with the achievement of a state close to steamed.

Proteazim-Aqua is directed to hydrolysis of the protein-carbohydrate complexes, which are the primary components of subcutaneous fat and interfibre matter. As a result of irrigating and soluble proteins washing out in the process of soaking, the inner surface of structural elements of the dermis increases and its physico-mechanical properties change.

Properly irrigated leather becomes softer, more flexible, capable to interact with chemicals, which makes it ideally prepared for further technological processes.

Characteristics and use

"Proteazim-Aqua" is a multi-purpose enzymatic agent compatible with all chemically active substances that are widely used for soaking. Suitable for all types of raw materials and leather.

Working temperature range for the agent - 20–55 ℃.

Working рН range 7–12 (optimal 8.0 - 10.5)

Note

Applied in combination with other used chemically active substances used for second soaking.

Soaking is performed in fresh solution at temperatures from 25 to 35 ℃ and within the range of pH = 9.5–11.

Duration: 4-7 hours.

Depending on the desired quality and purpose of finished leather, as well as the type of the raw leather, the amount of the agent to be used may vary.

• Cattle skin (green-salting cure) - 0.07-0.1%

• Cattle skin (dry-salting cure) - 0.1-0.15%

• Sheep skin (green-salting cure) - 0.04-0.08%

• Sheep skin (dry-salting cure) - 0.05-0.1%

Packaging

Polypropylene bags with inserts, 25 kg, polymeric barrels and other packages suitable for storage of similar products.
